LET’S WEAR SOME PINK FOR AN IMPORTANT CAUSE!

The Cleveland Clinic (2024) offers media to assist in decreasing tension and anxiety for those who’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer:  “Find helpful podcasts from Cleveland Clinic doctors on proper behaviors and techniques for relaxation and healing for patients with breast cancer.” 

Breastcancer.org (2024) talks about how we can provide emotional support for loved ones with breast cancer, and that breast cancer is not only a condition that can affect females [as an example, the National Cancer Institute at The National Institutes of Health (2024) emphasizes that the disease can occur in members of the younger population.  However, the diagnosis is often rare.]

Also, the controversies regarding the awareness month, different stages of breast cancer, people who might experience triggers during the month, and other important information are explained (Breastcancer.org, 2024).  

The World Health Organization (2024) reported that awareness allows individuals to receive early detection for better outcomes, but favorable outcomes can only surface when infrastructure  barriers are removed.  Finally, the World Health Organization (2024) also discusses the importance of policy changes in nations creating barriers, and lifestyle changes to decrease the levels of breast cancer.

A Brief Word On What Clarity Allows To Happen

OBJECTIVITY MEETS INTELLECTUAL CURIOSITY

When someone possesses clear thinking, there are opportunities for having more objectivity  (i.e., open-mindedness) to occur.  Suppose this same individual is blessed with intellectual curiosity.  They can think of any number of possibilities in resolving an issue, instead of landing on merely the first thing that comes to mind.  They will exhaust all possibilities until they find the correct one.

Mental health experts with these criteria will become leaders because they have some of the most important qualities imaginable in treating their clientele.
