It’s All About the Brain

The brain is a marvelous organ, our own indicating the numerous characteristics we have, along with expanded research developing a better quality of life for many throughout the globe.  A good starting point for literature and video about this topic is The New York Times’ The Brain’s Inner Language.

  • Left Brain, Right Brain

If we say we’re left brain, or right brain, what exactly are we referring to?  The Brain Injury Association of America (BIAUSA) provides the following traits concerning the different hemispheres of the brain:

  • The Future – The Human Brain Project

The Human Brain Project began in 2013 with thousands of scientists worldwide participating.  They are building technology which simulates the brain, understanding how brain diseases are similar in creating new treatments, and many other discoveries prevailing from endeavors.
